It appears that I'll be taking a trip to Hogsmeade soon, but the trip should be a productive afternoon, I think. I'm sure that Jamie still needs some supplies for school, and Jenny never minds a trip to Honeydukes (a belated birthday gift, I think).
[Warded against Purebloods]
Hopefully Honeydukes and the other shops there will distract them enough that they won't notice when I have to go register my wand.
I never really thought that I would use a ward like this. I've always tried to be understanding and give the benefit of the doubt- especially when others haven't given me the same- but this latest from the Ministry makes me question... It just doesn't make any sense to me. I'm every inch magical just as much as anyone else. My son loves quidditch just as much as (if not more than) any other child. And others may argue that purebloods are being subjected to the same treatment, though I wonder how long that "equality" will last. I hate that I'm so cynical.
It's obvious that I'm not really thrilled with this latest... development. But not liking it doesn't really make a good excuse, unfortunately. Never mind that I couldn't afford the fine, anyway. Mums cannot be rebels, it seems.
